I got this book the day it was released and then proceeded to stay up most of the night reading it. After waiting for what seemed like an eternity for this book to be released sleep was not an option or luxury I could afford. Since the title of the book was Blind, I felt it only fair that I start this book much like Jesse, Brandy, Jilly, and Nicki's parents... blind. I am SO glad I did. While I have never been accused of being the most patient person in the world, I must admit, waiting for this book to be released since reading 'Innocent Bystander' in May was almost unbearable. I was happy to have some other Jade releases to keep me preoccupied but knowing that there are people out there (real or fiction) who drop the 'F' bomb as much as I do is strangely comforting :) I love that Jade writes from within her world, being a metal fan herself, it makes the characters all the more real to me. I think she gets how hard it can be to be judged as a person by the tattoos, piercings and music that come along with living in the world of metal. Reading about a woman who can balance the working world while still rocking out gives me hope. Keep going Jade, as long as 'Fake' isn't referring to the tats, I am ok with the wait... Kinda... :)
